THE GIVING CANVAS

What Wildlife Rescue Camps Taught Me About Endangered Species Survival

During the kite festival season in Gujarat, I spent time with wildlife rescue teams watching injured birds arrive continuously. Raptors, ducks, cranes, each one fighting to survive. Most were common birds, not endangered. Yet their struggle was just as fragile, just as urgent.

If everyday birds face this, imagine what life looks like for species already on the edge of extinction.

This changed everything about how I paint.

  • Every piece is a story worth remembering
  • Every purchase is a stand for the natural world
  • Every artwork carries a cause far bigger than the canvas it lives on

Artist Spotlight

Each painting is more than art- it’s a story, a craft, and a connection.

Ranjisha does not paint from imagination alone. She researches every creature, learns its story, understands its place in the world, and only then puts brush to canvas. Every painting is a record of something real. Something worth remembering.
